Popcorn Cake II
19-22 cups of popped corn
2 sticks butter
1 pound bag of marshmallows
1 pound bag spicet candies
1 pound can cashews
Melt butter and marshmallows. Stir into popped corn. Add spicetts and nuts. Pour into lightly buttered angelfood cake pan. Press lightly.
Preparation Time: Popping time + melting time
Serves: 8-10 depending on the size of slice
"Cake" may be cut like an angelfood cake or torn apart. This ships well. I have used it many times to send to military personell. For packing I use popped corn instead of plastic peanuts. Adds to the treat when they receive "care" packages from home.
A bundt pan may be used. Salted peanuts may be used. For holidays you may use colored M&Ms. Cut "orange slice" candies look nice for fall.
