Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup almonds, sliced
1 cup white chocolate or white chocolate morsels, blended in food processor
1/4 teaspoon salt, optional
1/4 cup popping corn
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Cooking Instructions:
Mix blended white chocolate or white chocolate morsels, sliced almonds, and salt in a measuring cup and keep by the popper. Have a large bowl ready to put popped corn in.
Put oil, popping corn, and sugar into the popper. Fasten the lid securely and hold a hot pad with your left hand over the steam vent while stirring with the right hand. Use medium-high heat. Popping should start in about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat when popping almost stops.
Pour hot popped corn in bowl and sprinkle mixture evenly over popcorn. Stir with a wooden spoon until evenly coated. Pour into the large bowl. Finish mixing in bowl with large spoon. Cool and store in airtight container. Serves six.
